All scouts interested in
attending the 2010 National Jamboree must complete the
registration form. Slots will be filled on a first come,
first served basis with no more than four scouts from any troop
accepted during the initial registration week. If you want the
best chance of attending, return the form at 9:00 am on May 10th to
St. Mark Lutheran Church, 100 Harter Road, Morris Township, NJ.

The Spring Court of Honor will be held on Thursday May 22nd at the
Senior Citizen's Center. Cost for dinner is $5 per person.
Please return the
form by May 15th. |

BSA is offering a
buy one, get one free promotion on official uniform Switchback
pant/short combinations. The promotion runs through 5/15. The
pants do not have to be the same size, so you can share with a buddy. |

All adult leaders and interested
parents can take Youth Protection and Boy Scout Fast Start training
online. Other training is also available. First go to the
training site and register. If you enter your BSA id number
(printed on your registration card), the site will track your training
history. |

Scouts working on Tenderfoot - 1st
class requirements should read the
Troop Guidelines for Tenderfoot - 1st Class.
The guide lists all of the requirements with explanations, notes and
page references to the Scout handbook. This is a must read for new
scouts and parents. |

troop meeting

All scouts
working on Star, Life, or Eagle must attend at least 1/3 of the
outings and 1/2 of the meetings during the required 4 or 6 month
period to meet the "Be active in
your troop and patrol ..." requirement. |
